Introducing The Candle: Our Lulu and Georgia Project
When Lulu and Georgia came to us to create a signature candle for their brand, we knew this had to capture something specific: the feeling of walking into a Lulu and Georgia home. That warm, curated, effortlessly beautiful atmosphere they're known for isn't just visual. It has a scent too, and that's exactly what we set out to create.
A Scent Built Around a Feeling
Good design engages every sense, and Lulu and Georgia understands that better than most. Together, we developed The Candle around an aromatic blend anchored by orange blossom, with top notes of citrus and bitters and a balanced base of vanilla and sandalwood. Neroli and bergamot round out the profile, adding brightness without overwhelming the warmth underneath.
The result is subtle rather than loud. It's the kind of scent that fills a room without announcing itself, which felt true to how Lulu and Georgia approaches interiors: considered, layered, never overdone.
Handcrafted in Los Angeles
Every candle is hand-poured right here in our Los Angeles studio using 100% non-GMO soy wax, the same commitment to clean, natural ingredients we bring to every DEHV candle. Each one burns for approximately 60 hours and comes in a beautiful 14oz frosted Amber vessel designed to feel as intentional as everything else in a Lulu and Georgia space.
Why This Partnership Matters to Us
Collaborations like this one are exactly why we started DEHV. We've always believed candles should be more than an afterthought on a shelf. They should feel like an extension of the space they live in. Partnering with a brand as design-forward as Lulu and Georgia gave us the chance to prove that in a very literal way: a scent developed specifically to match a brand's aesthetic and philosophy, poured into a vessel that looks like it belongs in their world because it was made to.
